“Faith doesn’t seem to understand that the classroom isn’t her stand-up comedy stage.”
A concerned email sent by my second-grade teacher, turned out to be the earliest sign of my future career.
In my defense, the audience was captive and the lighting was pretty decent.
Her recommendation of a “creative outlet” led my dad to sign me up for my first improv class which was my official introduction to the theatre. I fell in love instantly.
I grew up training in ballet and singing in choir, but there was something I connected with so personally when it came to acting—getting to step into someone else’s shoes and create a unique and personal understanding of them. I was hooked from day one.
Outside the theatre, I have a lifelong love of rock and roll, country, and blues- especially classic rock. I collect vinyl records, and thrift old band tees (as well as most of my clothing). I love watching football (go Birds!), I’m a proud sister of Chi Omega, and I’m a huge Star Wars and Marvel nerd.
